I worked for two summer seasons at Helsinki Central Railway Station, focusing on passenger information.
June-August 2026 (11 weeks) - Station Helper:
In addition to previous tasks:

Trained the new staff in the station helper's duties.

Coordinated the replacement bus service and developed station signage at Helsinki station.

Assisted and stood in for the VR ticket sales staff at the VR service point.
June-August 2025 (10 weeks) - Station Helper:

Assisted passengers in finding station services, choosing transport connections, and with ticket services.

Infomed passengers during railway traffic disruptions about schedule changes and connections.

Directed passenger flows to replacement buses during the track closure caused by the Espoo Rail Line construction.
I completed three work placements at Valmet Technologies' Sales and Operations Planning unit of the Board and Paper industry sector. The S&OP unit is responsible for scheduling sales and delivery operations globally.
